Matthew J. Daidola, DO, Esq. a Partner at TA Legal Group PLLC, specializes in employment and medical malpractice law. As a lawyer, medical doctor, decorated NYPD veteran, and community leader, Matthew is truly one of a kind. He utilizes his unique combination of legal, medical, and law enforcement experience on behalf of TA Legal Group’s clients.
Matthew began his academic journey at SUNY Binghamton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Arabic.
Following graduation, he served with honor in the New York City Police Department for ten years. During his tenure, he received numerous commendations and was recognized as the NYPD “Cop of the Month” and the recipient of the Chief Michael Markham Academic Achievement Award, reflecting his outstanding commitment to both service and scholarship.
After his law enforcement career, Matthew pursued his passion for law and justice, graduating with honors from St. John’s University School of Law in 2015. Matthew is a proud member of the New York State Bar.
Thereafter, Matthew received a post-baccalaureate program at SUNY Stony Brook University with honors before earning his Doctorate of Medicine from Touro University School of Medicine in Harlem, NY, in 2024.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Matthew has been deeply involved in civic and institutional leadership. He has served on the Boards of Directors for Huntington Hospital–Northwell Health, the American Hospital Association, the Center for Community Engagement and Leadership Development, and the Huntington Cinema Arts Centre, where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board. A published author, his work has appeared in several medical journals, and he co-authored an academic science textbook, Unusual Diseases With Common Symptoms (Springer, 2023).
Matthew resides in Huntington Village with his wife, Alyssa, and their two sons, where he continues to contribute to his community with the same integrity and dedication that have defined his career.
